The 5-Day Marangu Route,
One of the most well-liked ascent routes for Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, is the Marangu Route. Because it is the only route that provides sleeping huts with Coca-Cola for sale, it is often referred to as the "Coca-Cola" route. Although the Marangu Way is thought to be the simplest and most direct path to the summit, it still require good physical condition and proper planning.Overall, the Marangu Route is a great option for climbers who want a slightly easier climb and prefer sleeping in huts rather than tents. Best Time Of The Year TO Climbing Kilimanjaro
We typically suggest that the warmest and driest months of the year, which are December to mid-March and mid-June towards the end of October, are the best times to climb Kilimanjaro. Unfortunately, despite the fact that these are the months with the best weather for trekking, they also happen to be busiest. Regardless of the season, the likelihood of a significant weather change always exists.
The oldest and most well-known route on Kilimanjaro is the Marangu route, sometimes referred to as the "Coca-Cola" route. The only route that provides sleeping huts in dormitory-style lodging in place of camping is this one and also provide FREE Wi-Fi in both huts. At Mandara and Kibo Huts, there are 60 bunk beds each, while Horombo Hut has 120 bunk beds. Although beds and pillows are provided, sleeping bags are still necessary. The huts contain shared dining areas and simple restrooms, ranging from long drop toilets and buckets of water at Kibo Hut to flushing toilets and running water at the lower huts.
