International Airport, where you will be met by a tour representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. You will have a chance to relax, meet your guide, and go over the details of your trek
After breakfast, you will drive to the Londorossi Gate, where you will complete park formalities and meet your trekking crew. From there, you will start the hike through the rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m). You will have dinner and overnight at the camp.
This day hike will take you from the rainforest to the heathland zone (Moorland). You will pass through the Shira Ridge and have great views of the Shira Plateau. You will reach Shira 1 Camp (3,500m) where you will have dinner and overnight.
Today you will continue your ascent through the moorland zone. You will hike towards the Lava Tower and then descend to Barranco Camp. You will then ascend to the Shira 2 Camp (3,840m) where you will have dinner and overnight.
Today you will leave the Shira Plateau and hike towards the Lent Hills. You will then descend into the Karanga Valley before ascending to the Moir Hut (4,200m) where you will have dinner and overnight

Today is the summit day. You will start hiking early in the morning towards the School Hut (4,800m). From there, you will hike towards the Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After taking in the views and taking photos, you will descend back to the School Hut and continue down to Milenium (high camp) Camp (3,100m) for dinner and overnight.
