Bookings & Reservations

All bookings with African Trek & Travel must be made through our official communication channels including email, WhatsApp, or our company website. Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit payment.

Travelers are responsible for providing accurate personal information including passport details, travel dates, accommodation preferences, emergency contacts, and special requests during the reservation process.

African Trek & Travel reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations where incorrect information has been provided or where operational limitations prevent safe tour execution.

Payments & Deposits

A deposit payment is required to secure all safari tours, trekking expeditions, beach holidays, and travel arrangements organized by African Trek & Travel.

• Final balances must be completed before the start of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Bank transaction fees are the responsibility of the traveler.
• Failure to complete payments on time may result in booking cancellation.
• Payments are accepted through approved banking and payment systems.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing through official company communication channels. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation and services already confirmed.

Non-refundable expenses may include national park permits, accommodation reservations, transportation costs, domestic flights, and government fees already paid on behalf of the traveler.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation timeline, supplier conditions, and services already booked by African Trek & Travel.

Approved refunds may require processing time depending on banking systems and third-party service providers.

Refunds will not include transaction fees, bank charges, or non-refundable supplier expenses.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers participating in safaris, Kilimanjaro trekking, and adventure travel activities.

Health & Fitness Requirements

Travelers participating in Mount Kilimanjaro trekking or physically demanding activities must ensure they are medically fit for participation.

Guests should inform African Trek & Travel in advance regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or physical limitations requiring special attention.

Passports, Visas & Documentation

All travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and required travel documentation before arrival in Tanzania.

African Trek & Travel is not responsible for immigration issues, denied entry, visa refusal, or losses caused by incomplete travel documentation.

Changes To Travel Itineraries

African Trek & Travel reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, operational challenges, road closures, park regulations, or safety concerns.

Alternative arrangements of similar quality and value will be provided whenever possible to ensure the continuation of travel services.

Liability Disclaimer

African Trek & Travel acts as a professional tour operator coordinating safari, accommodation, trekking, transportation, and tourism services.

Although we prioritize safety and professionalism, we cannot be held liable for accidents, illnesses, theft, injuries, delays, weather conditions, political events, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, local communities, wildlife, accommodations, and fellow travelers throughout the journey.

• Illegal or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.
• Travelers must follow guide instructions at all times.
• Environmental conservation rules must be respected.
• Guests are responsible for personal belongings.

Wildlife & Safety Regulations

Travelers must respect wildlife safety regulations and national park rules throughout all safari experiences.

Feeding animals, leaving safari vehicles without guide permission, or disturbing wildlife is strictly prohibited.

African Trek & Travel prioritizes responsible tourism and environmental conservation across all destinations.

Photography & Marketing Content

African Trek & Travel may use photographs and videos taken during tours for promotional purposes including websites, advertisements, and social media unless otherwise requested in writing.

Travelers are encouraged to ask permission before photographing local communities or culturally sensitive areas.

Pricing & Currency

Tour prices may change due to government tax adjustments, national park fee increases, exchange rate fluctuations, or operational cost changes.

Confirmed bookings with paid deposits will maintain agreed pricing unless mandatory government fee changes occur after reservation confirmation.

Force Majeure

African Trek & Travel shall not be held responsible for failure or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, political instability, war, government restrictions, or extreme weather conditions.

In such situations, alternative arrangements may be offered depending on operational possibilities and supplier conditions.

Acceptance Of Terms

By confirming a booking with African Trek & Travel, all travelers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws and tourism regulations of the United Republic of Tanzania.
